Is that Synth_2000 AKA J** V******? He's been around the block and has a hundred axes to grind and is the veteran of many flame wars. Banned from every VU group online and still causing trouble for no reason. On a previous list he joined repeatedly under diff names just so he could abuse the moderator.

Ferges u r god! I did write a post - my PC crashed when it was sent - asking if Rosie was 'pushed' by my e-mail revealing the lows this guy went to to curry favour. It wasn't intented to try & speed up the 'liberation' of the last track just to warn others of this motherf**ker. I was so paranoid that the former was true and it happened so quickly after that, I just felt like sh*t.

I'm glad that I wasn't the only one who has suffered to his nastiness.

Rosie Lee hints???

Post by iaredatsun »

Rosie Lee UK wrote: One day if I transfer other reels I will appear again but do not count on it. Locked in my father's vault are many items of lore and legend. You may call vault the cave *hint* if you want.
Can we presume this is reference to "la Cave" gig recordings? Or another tease?

Has anyone checked out the actual existance of a "flutternutter devices" band - playing in Staines, UK???

I am not worrying about it! I am just enjoying the new disc we have. What is everyone's impression now that the entire disc is out there?

The most striking thing to me listening to these amazing tracks is how quickly and definitively they nailed that Velvets sound in what, six months or less, if you compare with the first disc on the Peel Slowly set. Okay, so that session was acoustic and Moe-less, and therefore maybe not typical in sound, but still the whole approach seems to me to be light years apart. Just listen to Heroin from July '65 back-to-back with Heroin from Jan '66. How on earth did they do it?
