What the F@*k lou?
What the F@*k lou?
so, good old lou reed recorded a tune with the Killers....damn thats dissapointing! Antony is wonderful, Jack White, ok, Conner Oberst ummm... but the fuckin KILLERS?! Whats wrong with this guy? Ok. ok, obviuosly this is just my personal opinion, but I have to admit, I am confused and dissapointed in Lous latest choice in collaborators... I love Lou Reed unconditionally, but this is really pushing my buttons.

hehe, don't forget Lou's involvement in KISS's "The Elder".embryos wrote:so, good old lou reed recorded a tune with the Killers....damn thats dissapointing! I think he needs something like this from time to time...
Apart from that, I think the Killers are a nice listen. Nothing too special, of course. But they don't hurt anybody...
I am glad he didn't do a duet with Muse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ack ack
Yeah, Morrissey picked that one for a compilation once. Come to think of it, YOU sent that to me, bleach!bleach wrote:The Killers are OK..Jenny Was A Friend is a great tune. They saw the dollar signs and went stadium rock-tastic

Reed is already the greatest icon in the history of modern music, he has nothing to prove
You need to understand what Reed understands. Which is that by "collaborating" on a Killers' b-side, perhaps a few of the millions of hipsters that listen to that shit will actually go back and buy the Velvets albums that spawned the pitiful indie music they worship
Reed doesn't care if a Velvets song is put on a terrible automobile TV ad. It'll make someone out there go out and buy Drella, or Magic and Loss. Because that's what his music is for, to be listened to, not just to be given 3 stars by MOJO and forgotten...

What the f**k is wrong with you guys? The Killers and Muse are the two coolest bands since Oasis and Blur. Shame on you!! That being said, I actually think it sounds exiting...

Re: WTF??
the best thing than him passage to music in the last years was the musical revolution by nirvana putting to true bands indie/alternative rock in the radio transmitters.bobbldr wrote:Velvet-fan-DK wrote:What the f**k is wrong with you guys? and now to MUSE they say ¨grunge¨ to him? that laughter
for my the killers is a commercial group of the pile without a true musical talent
oasis even makes good musical comedy that they must let try to be beatles
one of the few actuals bands that make true music is sonic youth
that is my opinion
