Warhol Tapes......Disc Artwork?

Post by velvetfan »

Greetings. just a thought to throw out there; is it possible that the person who provided the wonderful scans of ATP possibly could supply a scan of the disc? I have my jewel case complete with wonderful artwork, waiting patiently for the last 2 tracks, so I can burn a disc and place it in my jewelcase and pretend that I have the "Real Thing" The disc artwork would make it just perfect. Actually, the quality of these cuts now, approximates the sound of a real legit (? can a bootleg be legit?) bootleg release. I know that adding this disc to my collection makes me very, very happy. I try to collect everything VU available that is actually PROVEN to exist, and this has been on my wish list for many moons. I even toyed with the idea of taking a trip to the Warhol Museum to hear the CD and try to make a copy. I would guess that security is actually watching for that kind of thing, so, one more time: "Thank You Rosie Lee!" Rick

ANDY WARHOL MUSEUM

Post by arzep »

Hi All,
Yeah it is actually a REALLY good thing these tracks came up when they did. . . I had a scheduled date to listen to the tracks in Pittsburgh, early next month!!!! And I tell you I was investigating some clandestine recording devices. . . I really felt like 007, and was going to give it a try, I HAD to give it a try. Threee cheers to Rosie Lee, and Fergus for keeping me on the right side of the law  Also I am anticipating these last two tracks, and look forward to hearing them. I really feel good when I listen to these, to me it is like a Pre-Banana glimpse, and it really is so cool. Thanx again to Rosie Lee, and Fergus for sharing, and being so cool.

Peace,
AR
