If you're talking about the mp3s I shared via the gmail account, the difficulty is that the account is not meant to be accessed by more than one IP address at a time and google pretty quickly pick up on this if it happens. I just tried accessing the account again and it appears to be locked - just like yesterday. It may get unlocked again but I wouldn't expect the account to be 'live' for much longer.

There's other possibilities, such as rapidshare.de, which allows sharing of files up to 50mb at a time (afaik) but I don't have the bandwidth to be uploading again and also think it would be nice of someone who did download to carry on the share :)

The torrents are still being shared and I recommend these if you can download.

Is anyone else getting a jump in VIF? That would be the only correction I would be happy with as it shouldn't be there!

What about the clean 'excerpts' CD we heard about? Do you think Olivier is saying that the boot is taken direct from Dolph's acetate, or from a second copy in worse condition? My impression is that he is merely confirming that it's the same recordings, which is pretty obvious.

I'm hoping that the cleaner disc is still around and might get an official release one day.

Just ordered this one from a Japanese seller, as I have not seen this for sale via any US specialist sellers. The first 100 copies of this set come with a DVD-R of the Bataclan performance. Final cost with postage is about $100; about $20 cheaper than what Caught Between The Twisted Stars cost me when I ordered it from Midnight Records in 1998.

Needless to say, this a major discovery for VU fans and I am looking well forward to hearing this, especially the acetate version of the first LP!!

Can anyone still seed the second disc of this set? I've creeped and crawled up to 93.5% because of a damn immovable firewall and now I'm stuck. The third disc I've basically given up on but I'd like to finish this one if possible. Any help would be extremely appreciated. Thanks.

arrrgghhh. I had not checked this board for a few weeks and look what I missed.

I dont have an account on demonoid, but a friend of mine who does is trying to download for me, and says there are no seeders. can anyone help out here?

if you can, he is planning on sharing out to a group of friends on another tracker, so you will be helping to spread this to more than one person.

thanks in advance.
