Can anyone recommend a page where I can view relatively rare John Cale pictures, either with the VU or solo? I would be grateful for any help or information.
Thank you from Russia!

On Name´s portfolio you have to open each page and look carefully each individual small pic. There are trully treasures there.

This pic is quite interesting. When I saw this pic for the first time a few years ago, I remember my self checking "Melody Laugther". There is a fragment at the beginning where you can listen a piano and a lot of noise. Minutes later the piano chages to a more Cale-style playing.
Since I saw the pic, I have always wondered if this piano part at the beggining (before she starts to "sing") was played by Nico. I think so.

Yeah, in the fourth and fifth minutes of the PSAS edit, there's some tentative plinkety-plonking that may well be her. Wouldn't be Cale or Reed, there would've been a lot more banging or "professional" playing.alfredovu wrote:There is a fragment at the beginning where you can listen a piano and a lot of noise. In this pic, it seems he is playing a squeegee without the handle! "Tonight's band is featuring Nico on plink-plonk, Gerard on squeegee and Lou Reed on jimjam."
It's like Christmas! Thank you all for your replies- I haven't investigated the weblinks yet but I plan too the moment I finish this reply. Thanks! And the one of Nico playing the piano is just lovely... and of course, since I've barely seen any pictures, it came as a welcomd surprise.
Thanks again!
