Very nice. Thanks.
I didn't realise that the VU used to do Goodnight Ladies :?:
any sounds that we feel would detract from the performance has been left in place

Beautiful Flyer ....

wow! Thanks. I have never seen this before. Great items but Oh those prices! I have one of the '93 posters I got for $50. They want $400???? OK, the only 2 items I think are priced good, and I'd buy if I could afford them is Tugboat Licence or the W2 from '68! I wonder what the guitar mods receipt sold for? How much do you think they want for the set list? The mind boggles. Thanks again

The value is not just the poster itself but that it came from Sterling's personal Velvet Underground collection. Some of the items are very difficult to value and are worth what serious collectors are willing to pay (we all know that there are many flush VU nuts out there) Quite a few items are truly one offs / museum quality pieces and so are priced accordingly. Items of this quality don't come to market very often so get in there quick!

I don't own any VU memorabilia. But I just bought the tugboat license.

I have Sterlings autograph on my Amsterdam tour book since it was all I had on me when I ran into him in '93. It's value to me is priceless so I guess I get everyone's point. I guess at this point in my life where circumstances are forcing me to part with treasures, I guess I'm a bit jealous. :(

I love that Hippodrome poster. I've haven't seen one for sale in over 5 years, and that one had some condition issues. Sterling's copy looks really nice, and I assume it's unrestored. All things considered, I'd probably go for that one.

Well, as soon as I pay the man I'll be the proud new owner of the Vulcan Gas Co. VU flyer/handbill. I figure $500 is a decent price
for one that looks like its in nice shape and comes from Sterlings collection. Am I off or does that seem like a pretty good price?
I havent seen one on the market in forever and I love the provenance.
