I'm afraid I'll close the VU tracker http://www.velvetunderground.be in a few weeks. There isn't too much traffic nowadays and I'm too busy at work for the last years so I can't find the time to maintain it.
It was a fun project for me to create it and I'm still the same VU fan. I know that closing down the tracker makes it harder for me to share new uploads with you all because I got an upload ban too on DaD for uploading "The Psychopaths Rolling Stones" once and I forgot to delete one song that should have been omitted.
Although I would like to thank all members of the Forum and the Tracker who contributed to make it what it is/was now.
It's always sad to see a tracker go. Even more if it was such a special project like your VU tracker. I always enjoyed the small community there and even if there wasn't much happening, it was nice to know that this special place is out there and you can make an occasional visit...
[Too bad to learn about your ban at DaD. Isn't such a ban lifted after some time?
Some of the rules at DaD are really crazy... (Even if you understand why they have to be that way.)]
Thank you very much for setting up and maintaining the VU tracker for all this time. I can understand that priorities in life do change.
It was a very nice virtual home that you have opened for us and it will surely be missed.
