NOTE: Anybody who bought the WLWH Deluxe box set direct from Universal UK, the flexi comes from another location; and mine arrived about 4 days after the Box/book. So don't panic (like I did)..on the way.

thank you. has anyone commented on the vinyl set? how is the sound? also, there is a noticeable volume drop on the live set (which i haven't heard or at least noticed on the bootlegs of this)... wish they would release that show as a legit vinyl set (and considering the milking that sundaze is doing with their new vu comp it might actually happen).

thanks again

I mentioned earlier in this thread that I get inner groove distortion on Here She Comes Now. I was also getting the odd single skip on Guess I'm Falling in Love. No one else had commented and there is a chance that it's down to my arm set-up although it's never happened on any other LP I own. Aside from that, I'd say it sounds great. Very quiet and solid pressing.

I need to listen to my vinyl again. I had it on when I was in another room, and I'm pretty sure I had a skip or 2 as well. Will listen on the next couple days and report back.

No probs with my 2013 vinyl release so far though i just listened to the 2nd bonus disc - great sound.
I did have those problems described here with skips and distortion on new vinyl releases once with a "Kitty Daisy & Lewis" 180g vinyl but after changing my low quality turntable to a Technics 1210 the disc played fine. Maybe adjusting the antiskating can help as well.

The mono version on disc 2 sounds fantastic - definitely my favourite version of the album!

Why does the price on this set keep going up and down at Amazon? I'm not talking about marketplace sellers, either, just straight Amazon. It's been as low as $57, but when I looked yesterday it ws back up to $71.
