Oliviers´s site has in red (unreleased) the Old Version clocking 4:05 (*) (versus 4:36 of the already published ).As per above, I would say that what we have already is the Old Version and what we are going to receive in the Deluxe Set is the "New Version" (alternate version).
Alfredo, I'm terminally confused about I Heard Her Call My Name.

I always thought
NEW = Lou Reed's mix (because the anecdote is that he went back and remixed it without the band)
OLD = the previous mix that was replaced .

If it says 'master for single, mono & stereo albums', then did Sundaze actually use the wrong master in the Singles Box. Or was that instruction superceded by the use of Lou Reed's mix on the LP?

If it says 'master for single, mono & stereo albums' then does that confirm that the mono and stereo versions of this track are actually the same mix?

Also is the 'new version' track 7 listed on the 45th Anniversary Edition the track used on the Sundazed singles set? If so then surely it is not an 'alternate take' (as they describe) but a different mix.

Alfredo, sorry to aim all my searching questions at you. I guess we'll be put in the picture on 3rd Dec! I hope there will be some more detailed discussion of these matters in that CD book and then following on here.

I'm baffled by the $97 price point. That's $12 more than the SIX disc version of VU&N. So, roughly $32 a disc for stuff most diehards already have in one form or another. I'm intrigued enough to rebuy this record once again, but not at that price. It would be overpriced at $60, much less $97.

Here is the Super Deluxe Japanese SHM-CD set for a lovely $151.00 USD! I am so glad my days of having to buy EVERY VERSION are over.

here is link for the 2CD (shm) Japanese set without the live Gymnasium cd for $100 USD. damn, neither of these has the flexi either.

I'm sure that price is temporary as it's more like ?48 in the UK. Maybe they have not updated since the official dealer price was announced.

That's just cdjapan whacking a hefty markup on it for their export service.

Seeing this in vinyl format (which interests me the most) but does anyone think we will see an official vinyl release of the gymnasium set as well? it would be a cool release that i think many would purchase as well (even if separate from the wlwh double lp version).
