New bootleg LP but don't get too excited..
For all you vinyl completists you can now have the ?Peel Slowly and See? CD1 and the Ludlow St demos on green wax in a truly crap sleeve! It looks like it was designed in 1987. :?

"All of the amazing pre recording demos from the "Andy Warhol" and "White Light.." albums. The power of these versions can not be overstated, an absolute must have for any fan of the Velvet Underground.
Tracks- Venus In Furs/Prominent Men/Heroin/I'm Waiting for the Man/Wrap Your Troubles In Dreams/All Tomorrow's Parties/There Is No Reason/Sheltered Life/Its All Right/Im Not Too Sorry/Here She Comes Now

On Arkain Filloux records from Belgium. Pressing limited to 500 copies.
An excellent album, truly a must have. Stamped and numbered out of 500 copies on the back sleeve!"

bleach, I'm guessing you don't have this as you posted the ebay pics.

I thought that owning this could be a good reason to get rid of the shelf-hungry Peel Slowly boxset. I presume all the tracks have been transferred from that set anyway but with these tracks the quality loss wouldn't matter too much. (I'm vaguely trying to think what's left on that boxset that is so important, apart from the Ludlow material, if you have the extended Loaded, VU, Another View, Gymnasium and a version of Live 66.)

Hi, yes i posted the Ebay pics - not sure whether i'll buy it though. I posted cos it only appeared to my knowledge on Ebay yesterday and its always interesting to read about new boot LPs, even though there is no new material here. Maybe someone who buys it here can report back with some pics of the back.

Odd - there are two auctions up by the same seller, ending about the same time...and different prices! Huh?!

I was bored at home and nothing was on TV. You're welcome: http://www.discogs.com/Velvet-Undergrou ... se/3498765

Mike, the higher priced one is colored vinyl. The lower priced one is black vinyl.

Someone's been busy. The green copies have gone. Made in Belgium but only available from the US. If I buy I'd rather get it in the UK due to postage.

Yeah 100 copies on green vinyl and 500 on normal black - so they say, if you can believe anything bootleggers tell you. I'm sure other sellers will pop up soon in Europe.

Looks like the exact same tracklisting from the "Something Different" boot, but without the last two live tracks, "Guess I'm Falling in Love" and "Booker T."
