-reseed-
minimax master-series 34/207
here's what I once wrote seeding this fantastic concert the first time:
Master - Audience recording from my old TDK-SA Tapes
My Artwork is included !! (Sorry about the back-cover-artwork. I had a computer-
problem just after finishing it. Hope you can print it right. I cannot correct it
anymore)
This concert I taped with an old AIWA walkman and an extra stereo-microphone
(I can't remember what exact equipment I used those days).
The sound quality is very good + or excellent-.
I recorded this from the famous Bochum - Zeche -stairs
where I often sat those days to tape the shows
because it was very easy to sit and tape and have a
nice and clear view on the stage.
It was just about 7 meters from the stage.
Here's another Cale with band - show of three Cale with band - shows in 1984 and
1985 at the Zeche, Bochum.
Oooh, I remember this one, just listening to it, as a really loud and strange performance.
Just listen to the beginning: Great. Pure garage!
I just let the cassette run after the second encore
and they played "Africa" by Toto on the speakers.
Aaaaaaargh!!!
But after a lot of applause and with an enthusiastic audience
John Cale and his band returned for another "Pablo Picasso"!! GREAT!!
