I've been seeing these MONO CDs popping up on ebay lately and am wondering how they sound. Anyone have it?

Does anyone know if this is any different than the "Ultimate Mono and Acetates" 3 CD set that's been going around here lately?

no no.... no acetate version, if have this one.
This is either a pirate copy of the deluxe-mono or a straight MonoLP-CD Transfer.
The Bonus Cuts are nothing special, available elsewhere....
But the Banana is peelable, which is nice!

Yeah, I am guessing this is just a pirate copy of the Deluxe Edition first LP with a few bonus tracks tacked on. Personally, I wouldn't spend more than a few bucks on it.
ePay has gotten extremely lax with their bootleg-hunting. Which sometimes can be a good thing, but on the other hand it lets these items slide right in and people pay a handsome price for rather ordinary and easily accessible recordings.

I'm pretty sure this was out before the Deluxe Edition and don't think it's a pirate of that. It's certainly a bootleg, but if it was a properly done recording from an original mono LP in nice shape it could better the Deluxe Edition. I have a CDR from an LP that is overall better sound than the Deluxe Edition, but it has a couple issues and could bettered even further. Just wondering how it sounds. Can crackle be heard? If not, does it sound like it was overprocessed? How does the overall sound compare to the Deluxe Edition? Just curious. Also, there is a digital glitch or skip during "Femme Fatale" on my CDR from vinyl, maybe it's the same copy as this Ebay CD. Could someone who has it check the line "Just look into her false colored eyes". Between "Just" & "look" mine has this weird high-pitch digital skip or glitch. If this is on the ebay CD, then I already have this copy.

Bogus Ltd. AW 1966, New Zeeland, 2002
1. Sunday Morning / 2. I'm Waiting For The Man / 3. Femme Fatale / 4. Venus In Furs / 5. Run Run Run / 6. All Tomorrow's Parties / 7. Heroin / 8. There She Goes Again / 9. I'll Be Your Mirror / 10. The Black Angel's Death Song / 11. European Son / 12. Poor Richard's (Heroin + Venus In Furs) 23/7/66 / 13. Loop (1966 flexidisc) / 14. Index (1966 flexidisc) / 15. All Tomorrow's Parties (Single version)
1-11: copy of the officially released mono version of the first album / 12 : live at Poor Richard's, June 23, 1966, from Exploding Plastic Inevitable film soundtrack / 13: flexidisc from Aspen magazine #3, December 1966, written by John Cale, and credited to the VU / 14: dialogue from flexidisc coming with Andy Warhol's Index Book, 1966 / 16: mono single version from the official Peel Slowly And See box set.
Digipak with a layout mistake: back cover falsely claims to include I'll Be Your Mirror, The Black Angel's Death Song and European Son twice. "MONO-VERSION; and "- NOT FOR SALE -" printed on CD. The mono mix was probably mastered from a fine vinyl copy. The Index take is actually the same one as on the Australian What Goes On box set, but was heavily treated with some noise-killer software, which didn't improve the sound at all...
The cover on eBay seems a bit different, but it's the same tracklist.
