Lou The Reed: "Sweet Jane"

Quoting from Ritchie Unterburger's "White Light/White Heat", for Sept. 8 '72:
All The Young Dudes by Mott The Hoople is released today. The album was produced by David Bowie, and opens with a version of "Sweet Jane". Bowie cajoled Reed himself to come down to the studio to help arrange the song and lay down a guide vocal that will subsequently appear on bootlegs.
Can someone "guide" me to where I can find this guide-vocal version?

Thanks,

This is the track taken from the boot mentioned by schnittstelle. Quality is not the greatest as usual.

Thanks for posting that. I'd never heard it before. I love Mott, but I always
felt their cover of Sweet Jane was really stiff. Not among my fav MTH tracks.

MtH is probabaly in my top ten. I agree about Sweet Jane though. Maybe they should have done Sister Ray instead!

I saw Ian Hunter doing his solo acoustic thing in a local club a couple of months ago. The old boy is still rocking!
