Just curious. Which Reed/Cale/VU bootleg VINYL album would you most like to own? Personally, I always wanted Lou's Liquid Air, which I just won on eBay for $1 !! Some people here must have been sleeping!!

Easy. "Live '68." I could have had it too. I was in a shop, had it in my hands, and then wound up taking something else home instead. THE NEXT DAY I went back for it thinking I'd better grab it while I can, and it was gone. Haven't seen it since. To quote George Kastanza, "I am the Lord God of the Idiots."

At least I've got the material on CD via "Problems In Urban Living," but everyone seems to think the vinyl has much superior sound. I'd jump on it if I ever came across it again. Somebody should rip the vinyl onto CD.

Caught Between The Twisted Stars disc 4 because it has just about the only version of Sister Ray that I don't have - I actually have it except that the version that I downloaded from easytree had an edited version of disc 4 that didn't have the version of Sister Ray that I wanted.

Otherwise I'd like to get the Warhol Museum disc since it seems to be so hard to get a copy of.

I was lucky enough to find that one on ePay as well. I grabbed it for $9 because some listed it as "Liv 68."

Somebody did -- I think it was ffooky -- and torrented it along with a rip of Praise Ye The Lord a while back on STG (minus What Goes On which is officially released). I have it if you want it.

I would quite like the original silk-screen cover Etc, just as a piece of art, or 1966 (which I also had a chance of buying once - "aah - I've got it on tape..." I said to myself).

Anticipating and searching for an album is always more exciting and rewarding than it is when you actually own it, especially when it's just the packaging and not the music you're after. Think about all the stuff you just had to have over the years, how many times do you get as excited putting it on the listen compared to the feeling you had just before you bought it.
