i just got the "flowers of evil" boot, and it was a way to get track i've already know on cd; but at the end of "oh sweet nuthin'" a piece of "sister ray" running at about 2 mn close the tune. can anyone tell me more about that? from my point of view it came from the Boston Tea Party recorded by "the professor" but when? Is it the July 11st '69 show the only one i miss? and where can i pick this show? thanks

Nope, if we're talking about the same instrumental/Sister Ray. There are 3 seperate snippets available and the source is unknown. I think we talked about this over on the big yellow board. My best guess is it's from the long awaited Gymnasium tape. I think Simon has suggested the same, but it is only a guess.

The first of these snippets to be included on various boots was on the Caught Between The Twisted Stars set - in 1998! - to my ears the sound is close to Booker T on the Peel Slowly set - April 67 at the Gymnasium. But I don't really know and we still don't we're going to hear the whole thing...

Seconded. I've had this theory for a while as the 'ambience' (for want of a better word) is very similar to that of the Gymnasium tracks.

Totally rocks too.....

I edited the three snippets together, as you say "totally rocks". It's frustrating because someone, somewhere has access to it
