Did u know who was in the same studios whilst the VU recorded their debut LP at TT&Gs in LA?




BURT WARD! (aka Robin) He was recording a doomed LP with.......



ZAPPA!

Perhaps thats why he hated the VU when he shared a bill with them later that month.....could he have had a personal 1-2-1 encounter with them he didn't like?

I know this as I've d/l-ed a tape of these sessions dated '5-6?/66' where frank is the arranger. Weeeeeeird!

Sorry, to be brash but i've been saving this up for a while, I thought this was a good occasion to tell y'all.

And did youse know that whilst the Stooges were staying at the infamous Tropicana hotel while recording the greatest album ever made, it was also the set of the Paul Morrissey film 'Heat' and thusly he did meet Andy Warhol. This just after John Cale produced their 1st long player. It's a fact.
