Just wanted to report back from Hammersmith Odeon (Apollo) Sunday night. Lou's Berlin show is fantastic.
The whole album played start to finish (including a short 'Sad Song' pre-quel). Fabulous to see Steve Hunter on guitar.
The childrens choir worked well - slightly un-nerving to hear such young girls go doo doo doo on the encore Walk on the Wild Side. (Lou: "and the little girls go...") Hmmmmmm...
Still - great gig - Bobby Gillespie a few seats away and bonus, the Underground Velvets were busking outside...
