I've got a pile of great Mick Rock promo shots of Lou - including the "transformer" cover shot you posted (the Scala Cinema, King's Cross, July 14th or 28th 1972).

Ah! - I never knew the actual concert it was taken at! That's cool: I live near King's Cross!

Lou's 14/7/72 Kings Cross show was his 1st "proper" UK show and he was back 2 weeks later on the 28th. (Iggy and the Stooges only UK show was on the 21st IIRC). Mick Rock took photos at all 3 shows but I've never been able to determine at exactly which one he took the "Transformer" cover shot at. I've got prints which came directly from his negatives but even they dont say which date the shots were taken on.
