I don’t hear any Lou Reed or Moe Tucker in what he says. In fact I’m a bit surprised you mention Moe Tucker. And I’m not sure Reed ever sounded that bitter about anything.falconwhit wrote: ↑31 Oct 2024 16:25 The reason I posted this review is because I thought I detected echos of Lou and Moe in some of the things he said and the way he said them. Warhol is often mentioned as an influence on Lou's interview style, but I think he probably got some of the bitchiness from Morrissey.
Morrissey was an angry guy.
Quoted by Sounes:
"Do you think people want to read about the life of Lou Reed? You need a good title like ‘The Hateful Bitch’ or ‘The Worst Person Who Ever Lived.’ Something that says this isn’t the biography of a great human being, because he was not. He was a stupid, disgusting, awful human being.”

In my opinion that was just lou Reed being an ass. He enjoying being provocative. Sounds very different kind motivation with Paul Morrissey – bitterness.peppergomez wrote: ↑12 Nov 2024 04:25iaredatsun wrote: ↑11 Nov 2024 22:44

Take a look at some of what he said about Frank Zappa or Jim Morrison
