Did anyone catch this on Mubi? None of these films are currently available, but they are out there....

Synopsis of Uptight no 3 - was not aware of this before: Part of ’Warhol’s Uptight series’, this is the only one that was edited into a finished form. Shows The Velvet Underground and others travelling on a bus to a Newark TV studio to appear on David Susskind’s ‘Open End’ TV talk show in January 1966. shot by Barbara Rubin and Danny Williams

Nice find. I'd love to see this. I have a feeling that Mubi stick things onto their site that they have not shown and possibly never will. They're there to draw people in.

But you think this is floating around somewhere?

I mean if it was on Mubi at some point someone must have done a screen recording or something? I would have done anyway.

Of course it could be that Mubi just list everything they could theoretically show at some point in the future. I assumed these films were available around the time the doc came out. At least it means they're catalogued and digitised and could show up on another platform sometime.

I was going to reply with the same thought as Datsun: don't think they've ever actually appeared on Mubi have they? Interesting that even Hedy is in the catalogue though. The screenshot for Moe In Bondage does look like a bootleg VHS blowup though...

On the other hand, hopefully the warhol.org rental page is worth keeping an eye on...
