Has anybody heard of this? It's a poem in that Intransit poetry /writing anthology magazine/book, from '68. I got a fairly beat up copy last week, after looking for it for years, decades probably! (the pic isn't my copy btw.)
I can't find any references to the poem anywhere but its like 6 pages long, so too long to type out right now (sorry!)
I've tried photographing it but it's hard as it's quite fragile, will have another go tomorrow.
Anyway it's super interesting, and very queer and dirty - probably it was only published this once. Pics soon. There are also short poems by John and Nico.

I think I have a recording of Gerard Malanga performing it

I no longer remember the link but there is a link to a free audio recording from that lecture presentation where gerard reads it and john also reads a poem. It's from their visit to the west coast in sixty six

I had never heard of this, but I found that someone at the San Francisco Public Library posted a scan of the first page to Facebook the day Lou died. I live near San Francisco, so maybe I can go to the library and have a look one of these days.

I found the link. The reading of The People Must Have To Die For The Music starts about 4 minutes in.
