Now this is interesting news. Is anyone planning to go to this and report back? Pittsburgh is a bit far for me...

Let's hope and pray for a pristine legitimate release of the contents of this tape.

Ha ha, yes. Exploding too !

I can do without an 8-track version, though. CD is more than enough.

Interesting article. I notice they're very clearly asserting that the Warhol tape is a master that Columbia returned to him in 1969 - not a copy that was run off. So that's consistent with it being the other half of the set that appeared on the Super Deluxe box.

Hopefully they'll find some more VU bits if they're going through Warhol's entire vast archive...

Correction, as frustratingly it doesn't seem possible to edit posts on here...

Interesting article. I notice they're very clearly asserting that the Warhol tape is a master that Columbia returned to him in 1969 - not a copy that was run off. What's odd is that the tape sourced tracks on the Super Deluxe set are neither this half nor the other half: European, Black Angel, ATP, Heroin. So perhaps all this new tape gives us is a non-acetate copy of the original I'll Be Your Mirror mix.

Frustrating that the Waiting, Run Run Run, Venus and Femme Fatale (and maybe There She Goes??) haven't shown up on tape yet.

Hopefully they'll find some more VU bits if they're going through Warhol's entire vast archive...

The box is marked 402 and the tape pictured 401. Is it possible the 2 tapes are here?
