Three disc DVD set called Three Card Trick? Legit?

It looks like it's nothing interesting, unfortunately - just three of those 'unauthorised' video biographies that fill up the bargain bins.

all been done/seen before. I'm looking forward to the new doc. being released on Apple+ TV this year. It is the Todd Haynes project which I am hoping has new footage, or info. I've seen everything that exists including the "Emerson project Live at the BTP". Unfortunately, some idiot who was pledged to secrecy put it on YouTube and word was out! The last known VU footage was in the one other Warhol film that had not been shown to date. I don't remember which one it was but there were a few showings that were well policed and that was it. We may never get to see it unless it is officially released by Warhol's estate. All because somebody down the line decided they wanted credit for posting something new. It's been years and I'm still pissed!

I think you're talking about "The Velvet Underground Tarot Cards". Though the members of the band were all (individually) in it, I'm not sure I'd consider it VU footage. I saw it, and I enjoyed it, but the VU did not appear as a band in this film, and they definitely did not perform any music, either individually or collectively.

That's the one, The Velvet Underground Tarot Cards ! Thanks. I have never seen it and up till that came out, I had copies of any and all video appearances by the VU, separate and together, playing music or not. My "completist" obsession has finally ceased in me as I age; but; I really would love to have a copy of this too. The Texas color performance footage that came out about a year or two ago was one of the greatest surprises of Velvets video to ever appear, or at least since live at the BTP (video)! It is so cool to be able to clearly see all members, in their creative youth; fully rocking out. A wonderful gift for all VU fans that are still with us. Stunning color. I am filled with glee just talking about it and now I need to find it and watch it again. see everyone later.

It was said to be this summer. So 2-3 months? I'm hoping further the announcements we have been led to expect might coincide with the film.

yes indeed! I saw a mention on an old TV show I had DVR'd from months ago. The mention said it would be on Apple+ on June 1, so I need to check and maybe get a trial sub to watch it.
