Spanish edition is censored, without Waiting For The Man, Lady Godiva's Operation and Heroin, but includes That's The Story Of My Life.
I have 2 different copies, 1 UK I believe and another; not easy to get to at the moment.

A "near mint" copy recently sold on eBay for only fifty dollars.

Does anyone have the CD version, by the way?

The japanese MV2060 is the original jap pressing. If not "rare" should be the most expensive of the jap issues.

1966 Live: Pre-Internet days was one of the most expensive VU boots. Today´s story is much different.
I have the 2Cd set "Excelent Recording Live of Velvet Undeground & Nico" stated on the back

I have it; came with the Deluxe WGO #5 2-box set (10 cd's I think) pals of the VUAS special edition. At 10 sets only, it is one of the rarest fan club type collectibles, and beautiful! It also had all kinds of goodies, like a peelable banana sticker, and the deluxe Spanish wlwh cd single with White Light/White Heat

Promo CD single, Sire-Warners-Alfredo 936245464-4-2, Spain, 1996

Limited numbered edition of 10! Included in the epic deluxe pals-of-VUAS edition of WGO #5 box set. With lyrics, black-velveted White Light cover, complete with skull, front and back, and a dedication to Sterling.

My copy of the box set arrived with the wlwh item missing. I contacted Mike Kostek who started a LONG...........search for it. About 4 years later, I was able to trade Mr E Finkelman for his copy for a 1993 VU backstage pass from the Paradiso where his friends Luna opened for the VU. About 3 years ago, a copy arrived unannounced from Mike who had finally found it! (Always a man of his word!) I now have a 2nd copy that I was going to put on eBay for a few bucks, but another copy sold there for under $20. :( I may still try to list it there or try to trade for something else that I am missing since my $ has dwindled as of late.

That depends on who's bidding.

I know the tracks of 1966 (2x CD) are cut differently from the more popular If it's Too Loud for You Move Back!, but is there any difference in sound quality between the two?

Goddamn dixigas; I have been watching that MGM UK sampler since it came up; it has never been on eBay that I have ever seen. I wanted to try to snipe it at the last minute and my isp provider was slow and cut it too close and you had already won! That is the only compilation lp with the VU missing from my collection. Oh well, you snooze you lose. My bid was about $85 USD. Wonder if your highest bid was higher? Crap; I'll probably never see that one again. Congrats dixigas; you still have never been outbid by me, but your day is coming. Oh yeah, let us not forget "rekusukun" who has almost singlehandedly raised the eBay price of mint Bananas over $3,000! He must have 100 Bananas over the years. My nemesis's.....
i was wondering why no one saw thois especially since it was a hot topic recently!
goddamn dixigas..i take that as a big compliment! and yes, my bid was considerably higher!!!!
hey did this forum move..i had a tough time finding it..no more tk??

Well this is interesting to me ... I did that WL/WH cds and thought all of the (10 numbered copies) went inside the VUAS boxes ... sad to see that a copy sold for under $20

I am sure that it started out in the box set, but someone must have removed it from the box set to sell on eBay. Eric pulled his copy from the box to trade to me so that means there are now at most only 8 complete Friends of the VUAS #5 box sets anywhere. I may get back in touch with Eric to see if he wants to make his box set complete again.
