[quote="lurid"]hey Rod, he beat me as well! I gave up at about $55.
That LP has been on ebay before, but only 1 time so far as I remember.
Do you have the 1975 UK Polydor "Not For Sale" sampler - the one with the "stand up" sleeve so that it could be displayed on record shop counters? I've only ever seen 2 copies of that one (I bought them both and traded 1 of them away). That LP has "Run Run Run" edited so that it runs straight into "Beginning To See The Light"
Well, I stand corrected again. As much time as I spend on Olivers site, you would think I could keep things straight. In LP compilations, I am missing only GIGANTES DEL POP VOL. 5. In cd compilations, I am only missing THE VELVET UNDERGROUND - MILLENIUM EDITION
Universal 549 318-2(18), Germany, 2001(blue cover).
In Various, I am missing the above mentioned 1968 MGM UK sampler, and a couple others, including the 1975 Polydor sampler you mention. With such a vast body of collectibles, mistakes are inevitable, even for a VU fanatic like me.
Ps, a scan or photo of that lp would be nice, especially since no image is on Olivers site.
