LOUTALLICA? wtf...
Re: LOUTALLICA? wtf...
Lou amazingly makes it to the BBC homepage today

From his BBC Radio 4 interview
2. Front Row: The charming Nile Rodgers and the grumpy Lou Reed
The Front Row daily podcast with, as presenter John Wilson puts it, "two very different interviews with legendary musicians the charming and funky Nile Rodgers, and later grumpy old Lou Reed". He's not wrong on either count.
Download (go to Wed, 9 Nov 11): http://www.bbc.co.uk/podcasts/series/frontrow

Re: LOUTALLICA? wtf...
The above interview (5 mins) is a hoot - real old school slippery Uncle Grump. Its like back to 1974..
"Its difficult listening.."
LR: " Yeah if you're talking about a kindergarten teacher, its difficult"
LR: "I hate everything about showbiz EVERYTHING!"
and you've never done anything thats showbiz
LR: " I have been given misguided information on occasions and thats why every record company is going out of business and they should."
LR: "Here we are sitting in a BBC dressing room and do you know what a come down that is for me. I'm against everything the BBC stands for."
What would you be against at the BBC?
LR:"I would sink it. I would bring back pirate radio"

Debut of official video of The View.
(I am still laughing at a previous comment about James Hatfield looking like Tin Tin)

Re: LOUTALLICA? wtf...
I can't even get past the incomprehensibility of the second paragraph. Let alone face the supposedly funny list of 17 things.
'In short, Metallica fans felt betrayed. As Chuck Klosterman points out in his spot-on review of Lulu, the band's stunningly terrible but delightful-for-even-existing collaboration with Lou Reed, this is simply business as usual.'
Is he writing in a superset of English that I'm not aware of?
