Maybe they just shined that one up but it looks like its in
amazing condition. I don't think I've ever seen a nicer one.

Super rare Velvet Dylan 4lp bootleg up on eBay. I'm anxious to see how much this one sells for-thinking about selling my copy.

Velvet Dylan 4 LP

This is a really rare boot it just sold on Ebay this evening for ?357 / $560 - wow! In 20 years of collecting I?ve never seen a copy for sale. It doesn?t have any magic content just ?Evil Mothers? mixed with a Dylan 84 concert. Thought it was worth preserving the photos for reference here. More info from Oliviers site on this oddity..

Notes: Limited edition of 200 numbered copes. 2 black, 1 red and 1 gold - well, yellow - discs. It offers Dylan live in Cologne on June 16 1984. The Velvets are on side 2 and 3 (so on different discs!). The rumor is that the bootlegger was doing a 3LP on Bob Dylan and a re-issue of the Evil Mothers at the same time and by accident mixed up the matrixes in such a way that the records couldn't be separated and had to be sold as a package deal! The cover of the record is a Bob Dylan cover. A sticker on the front and a small one on the back saying "VELVET DYLAN" seems to confirm this theory.

I must seriously consider selling my Velvet Dylan. I saw it once, when I bought it for $130.00 from the seller biefhart (who I know is on here). That is the rarest boot except for the single lp Sister Ray called Alive & Cookin' (don't even know what it looks like) and the Lookin' for the downfire, which I also have. Does anybody know what Alive & Cookin' looks like?

The auction's been cancelled. I'm guessing someone made an off-site offer. Anyone here?

Here is a Polydor 10 lp box set with the VU 3rd album. I have never heard of this before. Any idea of the year this is from?
