Wow; $462 is the highest I've ever seen Sweet Sister Ray 3LP set go for! And the same day the blue vinyl End Cole 2LP (no bag) only sold for $31. You never know that's for sure. And Alfredo's beautiful original Feedback, with flexi and English translation, didn't even get a $9.95 opening bid???

A while back a couple of acetates appeared on Ebay - they were part of this thread a few months ago - I picked them up and I've finally bought a new turntable and USB preamp and subsequently created WAV files of the tracks: Too Much, Afterhours, One of These Days, Over You, Real Good Time Together, What Goes On. As expected, the music is from 1969 Live and End of Cole Ave, there's a little precursor chat from Lou before One of Thes Days, and What Goes On sounds a little muddier than End of Cole Ave (different tape?) but apart from that they sound pretty similar to what's out there. I know there was some discussion as to whether these were dodgy discs, but they look pretty legit to me - if I knew how to upload pictures I'd do so! There's a Velvet Underground sticker on the cover not shown on Ebay, the same sticker that Recordmecca have for sale at the moment.

Anyway, since this whole digitising stuff is new to me I'll need some advice on how and where to upload the tracks for anyone who is interested. I've not yet tried to clean them up, I guess I will give that a go at some point too, but I suspect some of you are better at that than me.

Dropbox works pretty good. I am in a New Orleans punk & new wave Facebook group currently and it is used quite frequently to share files with each other. And it's free.

Caught Between The Twisted Stars on eBay for BIN 14.99GBP. great price for Original set, not the later discounted set. Great chance for someone to fill in their collection cheap.
