My translation isn't the greatest; what makes this numbered box special? I have one (not numbered) what is the difference? anybody? thanks

2000 made. There exist only 30 special editions A,B,C each 10 copies individually numbered. This is one of those ultrarare special editions (3x10)with the number C 4/10. The special edition has extra inserts !!!

I was peripherally involved in the production of this box set back in 1990 (you can see I get a name check just below Lisa Law on the inside of the box top - as shown in the 1st pic in that listing).

There were 1970 unnumbered boxes and 30 numbered boxes. From memory the numbered ones all had extra goodies - it looks to me as if the "extra" in this box is:

An original mint LA Trip poster ending in few hours on ebay. .still just over $1000. Probably will reach 3000.

2 hours left and it's $1,500.00 fake sold for $355 (and it was autographed by Andy; )

Went for 3300.A US poster dealer bought it.Let me tell you a little story.I still dont believe in those mint copies of the Trip poster around. I bought my first copy in Mill Valley(VILLAGE MUSIC) from the owner in 1993.The copy was stapled on the ceiling,covered with cellophane for more than 2 decades.Yellowed at the limit but surely original.The guy never sold a poster from the ceiling before(there were lot of rare ones over there)so the story made some noise between dealers also because I paid $1500 for it.This was just before the poster fair in SF. The year after just a month before the poster fair in SF somebody "found" around 50 copies in a basement in LA.It was a pretty strange coincidence.Dealers flying from NY to La to get some,a LA poster gallery got some, Andrew(at the time big Velvet dealer) got the rest. 50% had ink problems,some black from the lettering.But they were all in great conditions,no yellowing on the borders,like they were preserved properly or just printed...At the fair I got a mint copy from the LA gallery,traded for 1000 bucks.after few months one copy sold at Sothebys for 5000 pounds.but that doesnt count.the price fixed around 3000 for the mint & 1500/2000 for the ones with defects.Of course I confronted the 2 copies I was maybe the only one that could do it properly .Same paper, dimensions, ink...but still some doubt.how could it be after 28 years in a basement no mould,yellowing(at least around)etc?A friend of mine use to say"too good is suspicious"by the way I sold my mint copy few years ago & kept my old yellowed copy framed on my wall.
