This is the same repro poster that was discussed back on page 27 of this thread.

At that time, it sold for $501.01. I guess the buyer either backed out or returned it.

Or this guy is duplicating it! I thought it seemed familiar. There is a repro framed that seems it is up every week. But it is listed as a repro.

The signature looks exactly the same, and it should be easy to tell if the signature was copied.

It appears as though it may have been damaged in shipment. I just noticed that the original auction picture shows no damage to the poster, while the latest one shows substantial creasing to the upper left corner.

In any case, this time it sold for $900!

Maybe acetates from a later re-release?

I was going to mention these they are quite odd, to me they are 'hand made' the stupid hand writing is nothing i have ever seen on an official record company product. Theres a distinct lack of info on the auction page but just enough to entice the fan..

The message "Note: Should be out soon but exact date uncertain. These are acetates so handle carefully" doesn't make much sense, sounds like its written by someone whose English is a second language. In the 90s it was bootlegs with endless re-runs of the 'End Cole' tracks. In the 00s it is 'acetates' trying to make something sound interesting/new but they are actually the usual 'Live 1969' tracks, well thats my theory - i look forward to being proved wrong and missing out on a vu treasure 8-)

My guess might be the acetates from when Live 1969 LP came out. I certainly remember acetates from the tapes being talked about in an interview with Bill Levenson at the time of the CD re-issue.

Here is that overpriced; possible fake VU poster again. The guy really lowered his price and now it looks like it is selling around $300.00 If it's fake, that is a lot of money!
