Two hundred dollars for a
magazine? That's plain daft.

Yes the secret is to mention the VU in the headline. I bought an old copy years ago of a Village Voice with a VU Nico ad, for $5.00, but the VU wasn't mentioned in the eBay ad. Now all it takes is to mention the VU and price goes up sky-hi!

Wow,the
'light shows & curious movies' legend next to the pop image poster and concept... really love it.

I would say that poster has cross appeal and would be of interest to Warhol collectors as well - hence the high price

Hasn't that poster been seen before? It looks familiar to me for some reason. BTW, a closet mix lp just sold for $327USD, and 2 UK 3rd lp's (CS 8108) sold; one for $142.00 and the other for $433.10! Why did one go for so much higher? Quality seemed almost the same on both? You can never tell; I have seen some bootleg lp's sell for next to nothing and a week later another copy sell for hundreds. Here is the description for the one that sold for $433;
Matrix No. 1G & 1G
This is a mega RARE original record.
Only 300 were made and this is one of those ORIGINAL 300.
Back Cover photo shows that this is the ORIGINAL piece.
Record is in V Good condition.
Cover is also in V Good condition.
Plays superb without interference. Dynamics are superb
Is that correct, this flipback only had 300 copies? That is rare.

BTP Poster: At least for me this is the very fisrt time I see it. It is not at Olivier´s and I have not seen it reprinted anywhere.
UK 3rd: This is from Olivier´s "UK original pressing. Estimates of the number of copies pressed are around the 600 mark (250 to 300 with the 1-G matrix and then 250-300 with the 1-R matrix numbers)" From top of muy head was Gordon who was told of this from a record dealer. Next letter was "R". I´m pretty sure he has explained this here bofore.
