WLWH was released in January, but the Super Deluxe edition didn't come out until December, almost a full year after the 45th anniversary. There's still hope!

The project for a Super Deluxe 3rd Album is on his way! Still on the early stages but progressing
I am sure our "friends" at Universal will not let us down and will include some nice-nice Live 1969 recordings to complete the outstanding work (imo) they have done with the 45Th Super Deluxe Editions.

My first post. I got the WLWH 2 disc deluxe about a month ago & was absolutely blown away. Got the super deluxe 6 disc VU&N about a week ago. Wow. I discovered the band in the summer of 1987 at the age of 23. Been waiting ever since to hear any live stuff with John. Sorry, I'm already off topic but, can anyone tell us where John's viola was that night at the Gym? And, this would be pure speculation, what might have happened to the rest of the set from that night? I understand that "The Gift" was a complete shock.
Now back on topic. We already have so much live material from 1969 (relatively speaking), why not just have a 3 disc super deluxe TVU. Why does everyone here seem to want to mix live stuff we've heard before with the super deluxe TVU? Giving us another super expensive 6 disc set? I thought I read somewhere that The Velvet Underground Partnership (or whatever they call it) now had sole ownership of the Matrix tapes, so clean 'em up, expand and re-release "Live 1969" as a deluxe.
My dream for the super deluxe TVU: disc 1) the VV mix plus any alternate versions, demos etc., disc 2) Lou's closet mix plus singles, more alternates, disc 3) ALL the remaining cuts from the "VU" and "Another View" with of course the same quality sound the Cale tracks got on the WLWH set. They would all fit on one disc. So, what's wrong with my plan?
One more thing. If you don't have the 45th anniversary editions in some form yet, what are you waiting for??? If your wondering, the sound on both VU&N & WLWH blow away the MFSL discs. It's as close as we'll ever get to hearing them the first time again.

A What Goes On outtake or alt mix would be nice - I'm just imagining what the guitar solo would sound like without all that overdubbing.

Exactly. I've long craved alternate mixes with only one lead guitar track. Would be interesting to hear it this way. Beginning To See The Light with a cold ending is something else to geek out on.
