Is it possible to contact ebay themselves and report the seller?

Well, in my opinion, if someone buys these they deserve what they get- anyone who will shell out $ for these without looking into them is the target that the countefeiters seek.. caveat emptor people...

I suppose so, but nobody really deserves to be stuck with something like this...

Well this one is really rare .Has been signed by Andy Warhol after his death.Once I saw a Jimi Hendrix reissued Lp from 1971 signed by him.It was on sale in a Bonham's auction.Fortunately it was withdrawn before the sale.

Guido did have a great collection, but as pointed out it was mostly records. (As far as I know his wife still has his collection). I also met him a few times back in 1988/89 - he was a really nice guy. We went to see the Dec 1989 BAM "Drella" shows together. (btw I'm a child of the 1950s....showing my age here!)
I think I have an email address for Guido's brother somewhere. I could ask him what happened to the collection.
Somewhere in my files I must also have copies of the little "booklets" that Guido made up to catalogue his collection. I'll need to look them out and see what goodies are listed in there.

And i never met the man but Guido Panceti must have had a collection...
oh well, these are gone anyways!!

easier said than done unfortunately. Back in the mid-1980s I was sent a list of about 10 VU acetates. Standard song titles, some with different timings, good story about their provenance, and all very "plausible" (especially to me back in 1986 or so). I sent off $30 for 1 of them and of course never heard from the shark again. (He was at a PO box in NY). You live and learn....

Funny to see your post Lurid as back in the mid 80's I did bought 4 VU 10" metal laquered acetates with different timing(Candy says,Jesus,I'm se free & another one from the 3rd album too I dont remember wich one now.).they were offered on Goldmine(USA seller I dont remember the name) I payed $ 300 for the lot of 4.the curious thing is that the versions were actually really longer but they were "home made" in a pretty smart way :they attached the song again a couple of times at the refrain or near the end in a way you could barely noticed.Of course after I listened I thought that they were pretty dodgy, but the guy claimed that they were made for "radio proposes"anyway I kept them in my collection & played them sometimes.I used to played them when I was stoned.Good feeling anyway to hear Jesus start again just when you think is gonna end.The labels were white with typewritten titles & timing.
