Listened to both your uploads over the weekend. Great ? a blast from the past. Thanks Changeling. I think the last time I heard Andy?s voice I was talking with him. And that was a very long time ago.

Incidentally, last night ?Green Car Crash? sold at Christie?s for $71m (not to me , though it is one of my favourite pieces). A record price for one of Andy?s works. I have included a link with details and a few nice pictures. There is a great one of Andy at The Factory. You need to scroll down a bit to see them though.

How they know which pieces are really Andy's and which were done by Brigid or Joe or A.N. Other I don't know.

Among the early 60' Warhol's works,the 'Dead and Disasters' series I like very much too,expecially Orange Disaster and Electric Chairs. Listen Gerald talking about his colaboration with Andy always is nice and the article is quite interesting too.

The early Warhol series works concept,was like working on a factory with
easy duties to do,so anybody can do the job.....that's what I think.

The Electric Chair series was my favourite.

Andy gave away screens on at least one occassion which led to prints being produced outside of The Factory and outside of his control. Can't remember who got them. May have been Joe D. All part of the Pop Art concept.
