I agree, and indeed sonically all of those 'orphan' tracks sound to me like they're of a piece with the Oct '68 tracks (wild solos, boxy sound etc). But obviously that doesn't rule out them being recorded by the same guy on the same equipment in the same venue less than 6 months later...
The other obvious possibility is that they're just part of a second Oct '68 set which Jamie had mislaid when the track list above was assembled. I kind of hope that's true because it opens up the possibility of there being yet more stuff that we don't know about!

looking at the "orphan" tracks - Move Right In, I Can't Stand It and Story Of My Life: they all appear in the set list for 1969-03-28.
That leaves WGO #2 - always a bit of a mystery.....
It seems to me that someone (Jamie himself?) "cut and pasted" tracks from different shows and put them together on different copies of his original recordings. Thoughts anyone?

Yep, agree it's very possible Jamie cut-and-pasted from his original tapes.
Are you intending to post these two from your original list Gordon?
1968-10-04 Cleveland (very) incomplete
1969-01-XX Cleveland 1 song

the 1st gen copy of the April 1968 recording which was posted to Youtube by his brother (?) was certainly better than my old copy......more like that would be a real treat. It would also be nice to know the details/exact dates of the October 1968 recordings (2 different renditions of What Goes On.....). Some versions of that recording are very nice and indicate that it could be much better than the various copies which have circulated in the past.
As i said in a previous thread what commonly passes as Oct 68 show is misdated and is actually one of the March 1969 shows.
For instance Doug had only just joined the band in late September 68, we have been made to believe that within a couple of weeks at most the band had songs like I Can't Stand It, Foggy Notion ans Story of My Life already in their set list.
I have seen (and heard some of) Jamie's tapes and the Oct 68 set is different than what is commonly referenced as the show.
All these songs were for sure performed while Cale was in the Band. From top of my head, there are references by Morrison on Pale Blue Eyes and What Goes On. LA Shrine 68 reviews talking about Ocean, and Richman wrote about Foggy Notion in the September 1968 Vibrations Magazine issue. This is an old question discussed for years in this Forum. Clear to me they did not wrote all these songs in the week from Sept 28 to the first La Cave shows with Doug Yule on board.

I'd be interested in hearing them unless you're certain they really add nothing - you might have noticed I've got a bit of a bee in my bonnet about that Oct 68 show!

In the recent Ignacio Juliá - Linger On book, Morrison talks about how John Cale once deliberately came over and stomped on his guitar effects box during his solo on Pale Blue Eyes

I wonder if that contributed to Cale and Reed getting into a fistfight while on their west coast tour in 68
