i was thinking that the AAC/MP4 format supports M/S Matrixing, Intensity Stereo or Join Stereo. Maybe it's only iTunes fault.

It's quite possible AAC may support it in other encoders, not sure. Have only used iTunes for AAC. VBR is availabe in other AAC encoders but not iTunes, so iTunes doesn't make use of all AAC features at this time. These Warhol tracks are showing up for me as having been encoded by iTunes, so either way this should still help. If they were encoded in a joint stereo mode, then you're right, the file size wouldn't change much.
