OUCH!!!!!

if you hunt around on youtube you can see a (Berlin?) stage version of "Brandenburg Gate" and in my opinion it's as good a song as Lou has penned in many many years. It wouldn't sound out of place on the 3rd VU lp. I'll be really pissed off if the "official" version is crap.

If we go back a little, circa spring 1966, we may recall an acetate of the 1st VU lp was sent to Columbia records. Columbia records returned
it to the sender ( I believe it was Norm) with a note reading (approximately) "are you out of your f+++++g mind?" This of course
implies the artist as well. Therefore the question of Lou being out of his skull has been floating on the sea of first impressions
for quite a while.

Lou is "rocking" again; we wanted him to rock. It's only 30 seconds but after 4 plays, it sounds pretty good.
