Re: Museum Quality VU Collection Available

WOW! Amazing collection! I have been collecting since the mid 70's, first Lou, then VU. If I had started with VU, I would have some of the glaring holes missing in my VU collection. My collection is worth thousands, but of yours, I am not worthy. You have about 3 or 4 of the Holy Grail items that I have never even seen in person! You evidently zeroed in on prime items in the old fan club auction, Goldmine days. I can remember making long distance phone calls (from work) to record stores all over the world hunting down pieces for my collection. (I hate to tell you how many phone books in my library are missing pages from NY, LA, SF, Boston, and so on) I located my HC Index and my Aspen Box via the same tricks calling bookstores and using pre-internet book searches. I now wish I had spent more time hunting down more and better Bananas, stock 45's, and the ATP Pic sleeve! Sure I have all the VU bootlegs, (vinyl, cd, and box sets), many bananas, and promo 45's, but wouldn't my collection be "more better" with the above missing items; even though I have all the lp & cd compilation's from all over the world, wouldn't it be better to have a mono UK WLWH? Oh well, only VU obsessives like those of us who post here can understand these timeless questions. Sir, I tip my hat to you, one who has done what I can only ever hope to do. I can promise you one thing, if I ever win the lotto, I will be in touch with an offer you can't refuse.
