Guys, I've PMed Tranehead to ask a) if this is a different show, could you get it out; and b) if it is the Booker T show (i didn't mention it on Dime in case) to submit it to our own torrent site? We want to hear that uncut! Fingers crossed!

This is interesting in the Dime discussion:
there is another recording from the same venue on a different night with another version of "guess i'm falling in love" (which cale played the tape of on a radio show in the 80s), and "the booker t", which is an instrumental version of "the gift", amongst others....the two recordings were both done by the same guy (rumoured to be jonathan richman - he took photos of lots of vu gigs too).

whoops...my copy has The Gift AFTER Sister Ray...sorry.
also, Cale lists "Guess im Falling" as "Fever in my pocket" on the original tape box.

This is absolutely amazing! Never thought that I would hear another uncirculated recording by the VU.

Just have written to tranehead to encourage him to torrent his DAT tape. Seems he is willing to do so... So send him some nice pms to show him that a lot of people are interested and would appreciate it very much!

(And my english isn't very good either...
