I'd been assuming that the promo was the "dryer" white label promo, but that's not mono... I'm sure they'll do a good job of remastering the VV and Closet mixes, but all I'm really interested in is a more sympathetic mix of the lost album tracks and as many of the Matrix tracks as I can get.

Well, I really hope there will be some interesting new, unreleased tracks (and I mean 'new' not remixed tracks presented as new). I'm starting to get cynical that studio/demo versions of the dozen or so songs that Lou wrote in late 68/ '69 and performed only on the road (e.g. Over You, It's Just Too Much etc.) will not be on the set after all. But if we get a great sounding set of tracks from the Matrix, well, I'll be mollified for a while

Talking of which does anyone know from the archive if Lou demo'd or made some kind of recording of these songs while a VU member? I wonder if it's simply a case that after all this time (45 years!) they never were laid down on tape, except when played live.

Sweet and Twenty wasn't a VU song - different Lewis Reed.

Who knows what might be in the Lou Reed personal archive...

With regards, your list, I wonder how some of those tracks would have worked outside a live 'jamming' situation. They seemed designed for live performance.
