Hey Chris,
Don't look now...but St. Cyprien is up as well!
Lou Reed
St. Cyprien
06 August 1977
Lineage: AUD -> ? -> CD-R from trade -> aiff -> xACT flac conversion (level 8)
Tracklist:
01 sweet jane
02 r&r heart
03 waiting for the man
04 r&r
05 wild side
06 satellite of love
07 how do you think it feels?
08 lisa says
09 berlin
10 leave me alone
I'd rate this recording a C+ at the most. It is obviously an audience recording, complete with screaming and obnoxious fans right next to the mic. At first I thought this was pitched a little slow, but Lou's voice sounds right on, particularly on Wild Side. Then I compared it with other shows around this date and determined this show is at the correct speed.
There is a famous silent 8mm film of this concert...now ya have the soundtrack! Although you can hear the music and lyrics, the audience really prevents this from being listenable. Some of you may disagree with my assessment, but like they say, "Opinions are like assholes...everyone's got one."
Cover-art is included.

An obscure show from '75 is now up on Dime...I am on a roll!!
Lou Reed
Pabellon Deportivo del Real Madrid, Madrid SPAIN
22 March 1975
Lineage: CD-R from trade -> .aiff -> xACT flac conversion (level 8)
Tracklist:
01 Kicks
02 WL/WH
03 R&R
This is the longest KNOWN recording of this show. It is a very distant audience recording. Other than Marty's sax and Lou's voice, most everything is just a muddy lump of notes and sounds.
Judging by setlists of shows close to this date, these are the final three songs of the show.
This is for completists only.
ENJOY!!
**sidenote**
I was just thinking about how long it took to trade discs. You'd burn a few and send 'em out...praying that the guy whose list you found online would keep his word and return discs to you! There weren't any forums or discussion boards - just text lists or very simple webpages. That was like the Dark Ages of non-MP3 internet music trading!! So often the discs I received were on crap generic ones, which really bugged me!
Now I am able to grab whatever the hell I want! Torrents kick ass!
There was this dude in Germany who totally ripped me off. His name was Claus Chowanietz, from Maulburg. He ripped off a lot of people in the Lou Reed/VU trading community at the time, promising LP's and never sending. After we sent our $$$ already, of course. What a dick!

Not a torrent but a download nonetheless:

-a rare, amazing-sounding mix of Foggy Notion (this isn't the version from "17 Demos")-
