The trader's credo is 'share the music', IMHO it's just that a few here haven't been through Trading 101. Sigh. The jamband traders are much better organised. But that would mean VU fans having to get involved in quite dissimilar forums in terms of taste. Anyone for phish? Or the Grateful Dead?

There is a way in! I'd recommend anyone interested in live music locate the Dead's shows from the second week of May, 1977.

As for groover being the only person on this board with charitable interests, a gentle reminder that Sal is up there on the podium too...

Don't try to downplay it. The jackasses on this forum are a buncha selfish pricks trying to keep their own little collections up-to-date in their own little tight-knit community.

The VU is old news to them, and they have no consideration for the people to whom it's new news.

Hey Groovy, don't hold back- tell us how you really feel! I just thought that there would be more response after explaining that I was around in the old VUAS days and that my ex had thrown out my Velvets tape collection which was very extensive and that I am trying to rebuild. There was a show that only one other person (to my knowledge) had besides me and I have been unsuccessful in finding him.

That's the worst thing I've ever read.
