Yes - and of course the Berlin versions are vastly different from the VU versions, certainly in terms of lyrics.
Wonder what the 1966 Velvets rehearsal of Men of Good Fortune is like?

If it exists, perhaps the lyrics aren't the same, because it wasn't intended to told the story of 2 speed-freaks in Berlin, the project comes from Bob Ezrin.

No I mean 'Berlin', the whole project, I don't think the lyrics of the VU version of this particular song, if it exists at all, were the same, even if the song itself don't mention drugs.
