I gotta say I think this is the best thread EVER!

I always knew there was something funny about thie 'everybody pins you' line, but I never thought to question it. It like, just IS. WFTM is my No.1 song of all time and I was sorry to see it knocked out in Arjans poll.

I always thought it was a bit odd how the BASS gets cranked up real loud at the very end of the song, anyone else noticed this?

Yeah, I always thought it was Cale pushing the fader up to emphasise his magnificent bass scale ("Aw that's alright!" - Reed)

"everybody's body's pinned you"

as in everybody's body has pinned you, but nobody cares.

not a skip, not an edit mistake. just a nice delivery of a cool cool line.

lou rules!

I've just gone back for a listen- I think it's definitely intentional, a little nervous drug-induced stutter.

Walk it home!

I don't agree. Listen to the mono version and you can hear a "bump" at the edit point (this has been mixed out on the stereo).

This IS a pretty anal thread, but how often do we get to discuss anything new about these recordings?

- Thanks for backing me up on that. Discovering this kind of stuff is what the internet's for.

I always thought it was another of Lou's amphetamine stutters (and loved the effect), but it does indeed sound like an edit.

Being similarly anal, has anyone ever fathomed out the very audible "pop" during the "Loaded" version of "Sweet Jane"? It's very apparent (to me anyway) - a bad edit?
