Tony is not mentioned on german tour posters.
It's only Lou, Fernando and Jane Scarpatoni.
Also no Mike Rathke. And thank god, without the KungFu guy...

Yo, that Tae Bo guy looked ridiculous! I saw him on The Letterman Show and he looked so out of place! The movements didn't flow with the music at all. I think Lou needs to hire Billy Blanks for some Tae Bo ACTION!!

Stick and Move, dude!! Stick and Move!

There is no way Lou is on tour without Mike Rathke.
Who would play piano for his vanishing act??

Kung Fu guy didn't belong, glad he is gone.
Fernando doesn't belong playing drum pads or singing.

I swear! I own the poster. And it only shows the 3 names. Also the venue in Frankfurt is kinda intimate. Maybe this is a special show? Should I buy tix for it? 11 days left!

I believe you , I just think Mike Rathke will still be there.

Before the Raven Tour Lou did a "special evening" in Vermont (March 12 2003).
The show was featured as Lou Reed , Fernando Saunders & Rob Wasserman.

Mike & Jane were also there. Don't remember about Antony or Tony Smith.

Who knows, maybe that show you have the poster for could be correct.
He has done many appearences with just fernando.
That aol for broadband comes to mind where it was just Lou , fernando & Antony.

Get a ticket and go! ... bring a recorder and tape it.
Let us all listen 8)

I found a particularly relevant quote by Bernard Butler (Suede) on http://www.morrissey-solo.com:

"I'd rather see an artist playing russian roulette with their music than getting the pipe and slippers out and living through nostalgia."

Incidentally I'm also a big Bernard Butler fan. But i still stand by what I said, even if it's a little boring. If I could go and see Lou perform many times a year, I'd love to see him do all never before heard songs or stuff only from his last two albums or whatever. But if I can get to see him once every five or six years then I'm sorry but I want to be entertained and have a great time listening to one of my all time favourite artists playing the music that I love. Pipe, slippers and all.

Yo, no arguments here. I see your point exactly. I think we just missed out by being born a wee bit late! Actually, I was born the night Rock and Roll Animal was being recorded...about 500 miles to the East!

:) You're right... I'm of Street Hassle/Take No Prisoners vintage myself.
