Here are the three major pieces of Velvet Underground film footage. Extracted from DVD sources (lossless):

Jam at The Factory (Summer/Fall 1965): http://depositfiles.com/files/upew69x4r

Mo Tucker in bondage: http://depositfiles.com/files/wg3vkazl6

The Velvet Underground in Boston (1967): http://depositfiles.com/files/yocqm221w

Does anyone by any chance have a lossless version of the symphony of sound audio from the Raro videotape version? I ask because the DVD audio is lossy, but the video version wouldn't be.

Alternatively if anyone has the videotape version Id be happy to borrow or buy it to enable me to extract the audio........

I'm pretty sure VHS is worse than DVD's audio. Have you considered this:

I nearly bought that version, but my understanding from someone here a while back was that that version's audio wasn't as good as the Raro version.

With all due respect sir, I very very doubt that you feel the difference between lossy and lossless version of this high-end quality recording.

I actually have a digital transfer of it. I'll upload it later.

The best version of Symphony of Sound I have heard is this, but unfortunatley the links no longer work:

If you can track down a copy it's definitely worth the effort. I still have it (merged into one long file) but unfortunatley somewhere along the line I copied it into mp3 rather than flac. Still sounds pretty good to me though.
