It's interesting you say that, because come to think of it the whole musical "inversion" thing equalling "phallic deviation" or whatever, might actually have a point... about a hundred years ago (roughly) the word "inversion" was a standard term for homosexuality. So maybe this analyst was onto something...

To CL, the chord shapes Lou played were open A, G, and D's but the notes were G, F, C due to downtuning a full step.
