for some reason maketorrent.exe will not generate a torrent for the VU tracker. It says that it cannot open the .txt file because it's in use by another process?????

I'm seeding it on Dime for now while I figure out what is wrong!

Must I include a .nfo file? How do I generate one on those (will a .txt be ok?)

For uploading torrents...
If you create two separate torrentfiles (.torrent), one with the annouce url of Dad and one for VU, you can share on both trackers with only one spot in your torrent client of you load both .torrent-files. ?torrent, for example, just adds the tracker from the second tracker to the download from the first one. My tracker coordinates seeders and leechers from BOTH trackers automatically :-). This will result in more users on the VU tracker and faster speeds, and everything stays the same for DaD.

I have never had this error, maybe the txt-file was still open, nfo-files are not necessary.

Have I missed something? While I haven't used BT for a couple of weeks (mainly I'm an eMule user), a bunch of torrent files has disappeared from the tracker.
Why?

The main reason is because some people don't use the BT client for a few weeks :-)

I'm fixing a server to host all torrents but my work is killing me ATM.

Go to "search/browse" and use "including dead torrents". When there is no seeder you can always go for a request.

Well, I was still seeding them, but without a .torrent file this is useless.
Great to know that it was actually "intended" and that one can get them back.

Thank you and I'll hope that your real life will get better... :)
