To all the characters who made foolish comments about my post,...you guys need to take some serious drugs & mellow out. There are actually serious collectors out here in the world, like myself, here in NYC, who have been collecting for many years, & have invested in items, & have met & know people you idolize. So don't assume & make comments just because you can't get laid & stuck in some little bedroom in pigsnuckle wherever...B. Allen
B,
I know, I am one of them and have been around since I discovered them in '67. I have met them and know a couple of them. Personal attacks do not help your cause.

Jimjim, no kidding, huh? I did not think that we had much of this going on on this board since you-know-who went away. No more mean spirited comments please, B...

I got pissed off, as all I did was post a Sincere & professional availability of a Rare & Unique Collection, & immediately am jackled & insulted...I expect intelligence & adult common courtesy, especially on a VELVETS FORUM. If this was a Brittany Spears or Hannah Montana Forum, then, I wouldn't be surprised. But here?...Come on guys, you don't even know me, & right away, you insult me....I basically knew that the majority of the Posters here would not be of the category to afford a Collection like this, but figured it would still get the word out...I already asked who is probably the foremost authority of the VELVETS, whom I've known for some years now, to help me try to move the Collection, but also figured I could post a mention here...I forwarded pics to someone who is hopefully going to post the pics here soon...
So, I am not the type who insults or tries to put someone down, but I got pissed from the negative & immature comments...
I am sorry....B. Allen

Hang on....someone we don't know gets defensive about revealing parts of their collection? Hmmm. Sounds familiar...

Oh and you don't know me.....Rosie Lee? How's The Flutternuffers going? :D  :D :)

Just a forum joke..the last one you'll hear from me...we are interested. Go on.

Mucho Gracias Senior Alfredo,...
I appreciate your help...
This is only the Main Meat of the Collection, there is a good deal more. The NICO CHELSEA GIRL LP is a Yellow Label Mono DJ Copy, & also included are the REED PICKWICK(Design/Grand Prix) LP's, a Yellow Label Copy of the 3rd VELVETS LP, Books, Mags, Fanzines(incl. a #1 "WHAT GOES ON"), & a Rare 1967 NICO Concert Ad for "Steve Pauls' THE SCENE" in NYC, & other VU Concert Ads & more STERLING, MOE, & LOU Autographed items. The autographs I acquired myself, & the MONO BANANA LP was originally sealed when I bought it, but I opened it specifically to get the interior gatefold signed by the band... For MOTHERS OF INVENTION Fans, I have an extremely Rare & Beautiful 1966 BALLOON FARM POSTER, the first NY gigs for ZAPPA, & probably the first gigs at the DOM after WARHOL lost his lease on the space...
I used to have the 1966 HALLOWEEN MOD HAPPENING Leichester Poster, but sold it some years back for $4000. through Michael Carlucci of Subterreanean Records In NYC...also had recently sold on Ebay the 1966 VELVETS/FUGS VILLAGE GATE Double Page Spread Newspaper Ad...
I tried to focus on CALE-Era items, & never was able to find a DOM POSTER, or the MGM MFRS-3 MUSIC FACTORY Double LP, though I did come across 1 of the 2 LP's in "Record Collector", but it was the one that did not have the VELVETS w/Interview/NICO/MOTHERS on it, so I passed on it...But it does exist & is probably one of the rarest to find VELVETS-related LP items...
As time goes on, things slowly come out, & if you search, you will find...
Again, Gracias for your time & courtesy, Alfredo, in posting these early pics. Any Serious offers can be sent to me by my "wolfbond@yahoo.com" email, & will remain confidential.
Regards, Barry
