Ludlow, I disagree here. Listen closely through some high quality speakers. What I hear is "mother lover", much the way that Jerrry Lee Lewis used to use the same phrase as well as "mother humper". Now with it being recorded in San Francisco, one could make the argument that he is referring to the Mothers of Invention, but I doubt that. The end of the song is sprinkled with similar R&B phrasings. I have listened to it a number of times and "mother lover" is very clear.
